STEP-BY-STEP
A practical workflow, without guesswork.
1. Collect the right household and pet information
Record the responsible contact, alternative emergency contact, pet identification, behaviour triggers, diet, medication and veterinary information. A multi-contact family account is a future enhancement.
2. Reserve dates and review capacity
The pilot includes overlapping-stay validation and organisation-level nightly capacity. Individual room or kennel allocation is not yet a finished production feature. Staff should verify the actual accommodation separately.
3. Check arrival requirements and fresh consent
Confirm vaccination evidence, food and medication instructions, emergency permissions and belongings. Issue the agreement for this specific stay; a past signature is not an automatic approval for today.
4. Keep a daily care timeline
Log meals, medication, activity, toileting and wellbeing. Select which notes and photos may be seen by the owner. Sensitive staff instructions stay internal, and an urgent health issue follows the facility's emergency policy.
5. Close the stay at pickup
Confirm the authorised pickup person, return medication and belongings, communicate concerns and close outstanding tasks. The next visit can refer to the pet's previous care notes.
